LOOKING FOR BASKETBALL REFEREES:
Some of you have already expressed interest in being a referee for the REC basketball program. I am hoping to get several lined up so we have a set schedule this year. 1st/2nd grade games begin in December.
You will be rewarded with silver chord hours, PBIS points, dinner from me at end of season and you can earn points for the boys basketball team.
Please email Ms. Robinson if you are interested. Meeting date to come soon!
The 2017-2018 yearbooks are in and are available for pickup. If you ordered a book, not sure if you did, or would like to get one of last year's books please see Mrs. Coffelt.
Freshman and Sophomores: You are to be parking in the northwest lot by the gym doors.
Juniors and Seniors: You are to be parking in the lot by the bus barn.
Any Juniors and Seniors who come at 8:00, you can park in the northwest lot also. We need to have parking spots open for the DMACC students who arrive later in the morning.
Looking for Silver Cord hours? Mrs. Staudt has some opportunities which include data entry and categorizing books by genre. Email her or stop by her room if you are interested.
It’s that time of year again! It’s time for Iowa’s Best Country, KIX 101.1 & Central Office Supply, a division of Minute Man, in Marshalltown to team up & PACK THE BACKPACK for local area teachers! Don’t forget to remind ALL your teachers, parents & even students to nominate those teachers who go above & beyond to help out their students, classrooms, other teachers or the entire school! Every month we will pick one teacher & that teacher will receive a $101 in school supplies of their choice from Central Office Supply! Nominating a teacher is easy, just go to www.KIXWEB.com & click on the Pack the Backpack banner. There you will find all the info you need to submit a teacher. So let’s all team up & help our area teachers! We look forward to all this year’s entries.
DMACC SCALE enrollments for Spring 2019
Interested in the following programs:
Health and Human Services
Please let Ms. Martin know.
Students and Parents something new. The "School Counselor Box" is the most common way the students at Collins-Maxwell let the School Counselor know they have a concern that they need to discuss. Students fill out an index card that is located in any teachers room, office and counselor office with their first and last name and just a few quick words/sentences as to why they want to talk to the counselor, or a concern that is going on. Once the student has filled out the index card, he/she places it in the "School Counselor Box" in Ms. Martin’s Room. If Ms. Martin is gone, the box will be located in the MS/HS office.
Appointments are then set up for the students by the School Counselor. Parents are not contacted about these student appointments, unless the School Counselor deems necessary.
