JUNIOR CLASS MEETING TODAY DURING LUNCH

 

 

Hey Students,

This Friday we will be having some fun at Perfect Games!  Mr. Lunn sent you an email about the schedule, but we want you to know how much money this day will cost.  So...

Bowling - $2 a game, no cost for shoes

Arcade/Laser Tag - $5 will get you a $10 card to do these activities

Concession Stand will be open for you to purchase food.

 

We will see you there and be ready to have fun with the staff and friends!

 

As well...

 

We are also asking that our students, families and staff consider giving back to the CM community on this day. Donations for the local food bank will be collected and delivered to the food shelf in Maxwell. Below is the list of items that are in need and are encouraged to be donated.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT COUNCIL:  Every Tuesday morning, at 7:30, there will be a student council meeting in Ms. Sutherland’s classroom.

Attention Softball players:  Your cookie orders will be here Wednesday, Dec. 19.  Please make arrangements to pick up your orders after school at 1:30.

 

 

 

If you have an ice pack out, please turn it into the nurse’s office as soon as possible. 

 

 

**************EVERYONE PLEASE READ************

If you receive a pink absent slip during your WIN time from your WIN teacher, you need to take this slip to the teacher who marked you absent for the date and period written on the slip.  After it is signed by that teacher, the slip needs to be turned into the office within 2 days.

Example:  You get an absent slip on Thursday, Dec. 13 for an absence on Wednesday, Dec. 12.  This needs to be turned into the office by Monday, Dec. 17.   If the slip is not turned in, the absence will be counted as an unexcused absence and you will need to serve detention time.

If you are going to be absent during finals (January 10 & 11), you need to make arrangements ahead of time with your teacher(s).

Warm Up 4 Winter!

 

For the month of December, the Student Ambassadors are collecting gloves, scarves, and hats that will benefit the families in the Collins-Maxwell community through the Backpack Program and Local Churches.

 

Please turn them into your WIN time group by  DECEMBER 19!

 

The WIN time group with the most items will get an ice cream and cookie social on December 20!

JUNIORS/JUNIOR PARENTS: 

 

Sign-up Genius was sent out Nov. 19 to you and your parents to work basketball concession stands. Please sign up right away. We need at least one adult and two students per night. 

 

 

LOOKING FOR BASKETBALL REFEREES: 

Some of you have already expressed interest in being a referee for the REC basketball program. I am hoping to get several lined up so we have a set schedule this year. 1st/2nd grade games begin in December. 

You will be rewarded with silver chord hours, PBIS points, dinner from me at end of season and you can earn points for the boys basketball team. 

 

Please email Ms. Robinson if you are interested. Meeting date to come soon! 

 

 

Looking for Silver Cord hours?  Mrs. Staudt has some opportunities which include data entry and categorizing books by genre.  Email her or stop by her room if you are interested.
